Department Specialists Position form Employment contract 2026-07-01 Location Michigan Candidates he/she/they Apply now Translate pl de cz pt en Your tasks: Own financial transparency for assigned customer programs, including revenue, material cost, tooling, R&D, CapEx, margin and lifecycle profitabilityPrepare and maintain project business cases, RFQ calculations, acquisition calculations and profitability modelsMaintain BOM-based cost models, cost simulations and commercial assumptions used for customer pricingSupport OEM customer negotiations with cost-breakdown packages, financial arguments and scenario analysesEvaluate financial impact of engineering changes, customer change requests, volume changes, scope changes and timing changesTrack project budgets, forecasts, actuals, commitments and risks/opportunitiesAct as commercial sparring partner for Program Management, Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Operations and FinanceEnsure consistency of project data in SAP / ERP and controlling systems Your qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in project controlling, program controlling, commercial controlling, finance or management accounting.Experience in manufacturing, automotive, industrial or engineering-driven environment.Strong knowledge of business cases, RFQs, product costing, BOM cost logic, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.Advanced Excel and SAP / ERP experience.Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.Preferred:Tier-1 / Tier -2 automotive supplier experience.OEM cost-breakdown experience, including VDA, A2Mac1 or similar cost-transparency standards.Experience supporting customer negotiations, VA/VE activities, engineering changes or profitability recovery.
