Brose Sitech Invests in New Acoustics Center of Excellence in Polkowice

Polkowice. Brose Sitech Group is investing in the expansion of its technological capabilities by building a state-of-the-art acoustic chamber at its Polkowice location. The new facility will also become the future Acoustics Hub, a global center of excellence for acoustics, product sound quality, and research and development within the Group.

The facility is scheduled to become operational in spring 2027. At the heart of the project is a sound chamber designed according to the “box-in-box” principle, providing near-complete isolation from ambient noise and vibrations. This will enable the acoustic properties of components and systems to be analyzed and evaluated with the highest level of precision.

As vehicle electrification continues to advance, the acoustic perception of products is becoming increasingly important. The new testing infrastructure will enable Brose Sitech to conduct product development and validation processes in-house while further expanding its expertise in quality assurance and engineering.
