10 Years of Brose Sitech in Września: Plant Anniversary and a Celebration with Employees

Września. Brose Sitech celebrated two important anniversaries this year: the 10th anniversary of its plant in Września and five years of the joint venture. The anniversary event, held on August 30, provided an opportunity to reflect on a decade of growth, thank employees for their contributions to the company’s success, and celebrate together in a family-friendly atmosphere. 
 
The history of the facility, located in the Września Economic Activity Zone, began in the fall of 2015. As Września Mayor Tomasz Kałużny recalled during the anniversary celebration, the official cornerstone-laying ceremony for the production facility took place on October 2, 2015. Less than a year later, on August 18, 2016, the plant officially opened. 
 
Today, the Września plant employs approximately 150 people and is part of the international Brose Sitech Group, which operates at 22 locations worldwide. 
 
From Amarok to Tayron
The past ten years have been marked by dynamic growth and the implementation of numerous projects for the automotive industry. The Września plant has produced seats for vehicles including the Volkswagen Amarok and currently supplies components for the Crafter and Tayron models. 
 
During the anniversary celebration, Plant Manager Paweł Baranowski emphasized that the company’s success is driven by the people who have helped shape the history of the location from the very beginning. 
 
“Over the past ten years, the Września plant has evolved from a greenfield investment into a modern production facility employing approximately 150 people. During this time, our team has contributed to numerous projects for the automotive industry, from seats for the Volkswagen Amarok to our current Crafter and Tayron projects. Another important milestone in the plant’s history came in 2023, when we produced our one-millionth seat. Today’s anniversary is a perfect opportunity to thank all our employees whose daily work has contributed to the plant’s development and helped build its strong position.” 
 
One of the most important milestones in the company’s history was the production of its one-millionth vehicle seat. This impressive milestone was reached in June 2023, after 1,445 days of series production. 
 
Success Built on Collaboration
Manuela Böhme, CHRO of the Brose Sitech Group, also expressed her appreciation for the team.

Representatives of Volkswagen Poznań also congratulated the team: Liane Lubitz, CFO and Member of the Board for Finance, Purchasing and IT, and Marzena Pillich-Grońska, Plant Manager of Volkswagen Poznań in Września. Their presence reflected the long-standing cooperation between the two companies.

A Day Full of Activities for the Whole Family
While the anniversary included an official program, it was above all a family celebration. The organizers prepared a wide range of activities for employees and their families. 
 
Guests had the opportunity to tour the plant and see how vehicle seats for modern vehicles are produced. The program also included skill-based competitions, an inflatable obstacle course, a virtual reality zone, a concert, and food for everyone to enjoy together. 
 
A special highlight was the performance by Miłosz Stopiński, Polish Freestyle Football Champion, who impressed the audience with spectacular soccer moves and tricks. His performance attracted a large crowd and provided plenty of sporting excitement for both younger participants and adults.
 
The family picnic provided an excellent opportunity to connect, have fun together, and give family members a closer look at their loved ones’ workplace. Initiatives like these have long played an important role in strengthening relationships both within the organization and with the local community.

Ten years of operations in Września represent a decade of consistent growth, ambitious projects, and significant milestones for Brose Sitech. It is also the story of hundreds of people who have contributed to the success of the location over the years. 
 
Today, the company looks to the future with optimism, focusing on continued growth and strengthening its position in the European automotive market. The anniversary was not only an opportunity to look back and celebrate what has been achieved, but also a symbolic beginning of the next chapter in the history of the Września plant.
