Your tasks

selection and implementation of technologies for serial and pre-series production in the field of PLC and IPC-based machine control systems,
creation of control system development strategies and supervision of existing solutions,
maintenance and development of internal standards in the field of industrial automation,
development of concepts for production processes including integration of control systems with other equipment,
leadership and supervision of investment projects related to production automation,
prepare technical specifications for control systems and HMIs for the purchase of new machinery,
technical evaluation of proposed technological solutions,
initiate and conduct tests of new technologies, their verification and validation,
support the launch of new projects at Brose Sitech,
analyze risks and report on the implementation of control systems development strategies,
work closely with the departments: Maintenance, Production, Project Management and Quality.

Your qualifications

you have a technical university degree (preferred majors: automation, mechatronics, electromechanics),
practical knowledge of control systems, industrial automation, PLC and HMI programming,
you have experience working as a technologist, process engineer or in the preparation of production processes,
you are familiar with modern technologies and standards in the area of industrial automation,
you know English or German at a level that allows you to work independently,
you are proactive, self-reliant and willing to have a real impact on the development of technological processes,
you have experience in the automotive or related industry,
you have teamwork skills and highly developed communication skills,
you are a creative person and show initiative in solving problems,
you have a category B driver's license.
